Italian Australian Welfare Association (Granite Belt) Inc. (Registered Aged Care Provider Number 26626) (“IAWA Home Care”) is an approved registered Aged Care Provider and is accepting referrals of Support at Home Packages through My Aged Care.
IAWA Home Care is a grass roots, community based, not-for-profit organisation. We are committed to removing cultural and language barriers and ensuring the integration of people from all backgrounds into our multi-cultural Australian Society.
In the past, IAWA Home Care has been well-known for providing some services focused on meeting the needs of the significant population of Italian born and Italian descendants as well as others from non-English speaking backgrounds in Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt. Our services were limited by the previous funding model.
With the advent of My Aged Care we have expanded our services to deliver to everyone (irrespective of your background) needing help the full range of services required for you to remain in your home as long as reasonably possible.
